Hello All,

I'm trying to remotely log into Manager (I temporarily port forward to log in remotely), but am getting a message "Failed to Login to IP Office - Cause (Locked - Account Idle)". I looked in the knowledge base but couldn't find a good answer. Do I have to log in to security settings to reset the account?

Thanks, that's gonna be bad because my security credentials aren't working for some reason. Might have to go onsite and see what I can do from there.

When you are onsite you can use a serial cable and use AT-SECURITYRESETALL
Then you can reset the security settings.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Once you have regained access it may be a good time to gibe the system a thorough security Audit & make sure it is not publicly accessible.

I would not be surprised to find that a friendly hacker has changed your passwords

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Thanks, will be going onsite today. Don't know how they changed the security password. I changed the user and password for security settings using complex pw's.

Yup, a hacker must have changed the pw's. Had to go on site and reset with serial cable. Fun stuff.
