I don't know the explicit API calls, but first you'll need to specify the server OS (Novell, Unix, Linix, Win NT/2000/2003, etc.). Next search the appropriate manufacture's web site and/or support forums for the appropriate API calls to determine if it's even possible from a "remote" client. Be aware that no matter the OS used, it's likely you'll need at least temporary Administrator level security access to do anything meanfully - like playing with it's locking schemes. Finally you'll need to determine if the API calls can be done directly from VFP - there are many structures and variable types that are difficult if not impossible to work with from VFP without writing an intervening .FLL or DLL in C++ to provide an interface.
What do you mean "Lock a network connection" or "unlock a network connection"?
I may just be obtuse, but I don't recognize this terminology...
If you find the right api's, we can help you figure out the API structures in vfp if they're required.
The only thing I've attempted that I couldn't figure out in calling Win API's is Callback functions... if these aren't required, you should be able to do everything in VFP.
From windows XP, you go to Network Places and if you write clic to the "Go to the Network Connection" you will see the "Local Lan Conection" and if you right clic on it you can deactivate or activate the local LAN connection.
I now it is an API matter, but i don't how to start, and if could be possible.
