It appears that in a Windows 2000 domain the Temporary Internet Files are located in the Local Settings folder on the C: drive of the client computers a user logs into. This folder does not exist in the domain profile of the same user. I found none of these files in the domain profile, except for cookies. Can anyone verify this? Are there temporary internet files that are propagated to the domain profiles (besides cookies)? We are running a Windows 2000 domain and Windows 2000 clients. Thanks for any answers.

goto explorer/tools/options/view, you have to unhide hidden files and system files then try to locate the internet temporary files again.

i already have viewing of system files and hidden files enabled. I just need to know if Temporary Internet Files (other than cookies) are only stored locally, or are transferred to the domain profile. It appears that they do not go to the domain profile, and I am just looking for verification... thanks for your reply... ;)

no they stay local unless redirected in a GPO or on the local machine maually though the IE properties

i forgot, or unless they TS into a terminal services server, then they will be on the server under their profile on there
