Location of e-mails

Hi,

Does Outlook stores the user's e-mails in the user's Documents and Settings folder ? I know it's stored in a PST file, but am not 100% sure where.

My reason for asking is that I'm retrieving data from a laptop's hard drive (the laptop itself has died).

Hi, Jay

In outlook, click on File/Data File Management, select appropriate Personal Folders file and click on Open Folder button. That will show you in explorer the folder being used and the files that reside there.

You probably have to have display hidden and system files enabled in explorer (I do).
