Our building lease is about to expire later this year. We are looking at moving from one location to another (same city). Does anyone have a ball-park figure for moving a Definity G3si V9 PBX (a total of three cabinets) and re-punching all 110-blocks? Also, are there any recommended vendors (within Colorado) that you would suggest? I've called our Avaya AE and never got a response :(

My last company moved a bunch of VS's and SI's, it seem like it was around 4 or 5 grand a pop. We started just moving them ourselves, just paid avaya to come in and "certify" the system for ~1,250.00.

You should be able to get a list of AVAYA partners in your area that will do this.

Any cable vendor can do the switch tail punchdowns, and moving the system is pretty easy. I personally moved our SI at our last company fo 250 call center agents on a friday night, and had the system back on line and placing test calls by noon the next day. Call center taking calls on monday.

We paid about $1200 for our vendor to disconnect, set-up a 2 cabinet G3Si, coordinate swinging the T's and punch-down and test 200 station. We did the physical move ourselves. We were down for only about 8 hours or so in total. I would recommend our vendor (we're in Denver), but I think that's a little off-color in a public forum. Not sure how I'd get that info to you, but I'm open to suggestions...

I don't think any one here is opposed to posting a recomendation for a vendor. I know I'm not.
