Hi,
I need help will locate.
my problem is that if i'm adding or editing a record in delphi, once i use the locate function, it automatically comes in dsBrowse mode. this means that i will have to put it back to the previous mode (i.e dsInser,dsEdit)if the record does not exist.
Is there a way to locate in that same file without losing the mode you're in?
My other problem is with unique index.i'm using a foxpro file and i'm creating its index in database desktop.Even if i make that index unique, it doesn't work.it only hide it but once you're browsing that file in foxpro, you'll see that it's there!
With a paradox file, it works and it gives you the message(key violation), why not in foxpro file?
Can somebody help me please...
