I noticed that some domains have localized DNS Lookup results. For example if the lookup is performed in the US one IP address is ruturned, while another ip is returned in Europe, etc.

One example is From Europe:
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: Addresses: 209.85.135.147, 209.85.135.99, 209.85.135.103, 209.85.135.104

From US:
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: Addresses: 72.14.203.99, 72.14.203.104, 72.14.203.147
Aliases:
As far as I know this functionality is not supported natively by the DNS system, so how is it done? Some custom made DNS software, or does BIND or other DNS software support this?
