Local system account and usernames 1

Hi,

I have an account whereby if I run set on the command prompt I get back a APPDATA = C:\Documents and Settings\myUserdId\Application Data

My application writes to this directory happily.

However when the app runs under local system account it fails. Where is APPDATA for local system account?

Have you set APPDATA as a System Variable and not a User Variable? Check in System Properties / Advanced / Environment Variables
