Local Printer disapeared withhin Citrix Metaframe XP NFuse

Hello

I have the following Problem:

An employee of our company is working home-based and connect to our Network via Citrix NFuse. At his Home, he has a local Printer connected on the LPT1 Port of his PC.

The OS of his Computer is Windows XP. The OS of the Metaframe Server is Windows 2000 Advanced Server.



First, we add the local Printer to his Windows XP Machine. Then, we connect to our servers with NFUSE over Internet and withhin Metaframe we perform the following steps:

Start - Settings - Printers

Add Printer - next - Network Printer - Next - choose "Type the printer name, or click next to browse for a printer" - next - expant the "client" node and choose the local Printer - next - set it as the default printer

The Problem is that sometimes if he connect via NFuse to our network, the local printer no longer appears in the start - settings printer list. So each time this happens, we have to drive to his home and add the printer manually as described above, because he is not able to do that even after we explaned him how to do so.

so i need a solution that this local Printer remains in his Metaframe Printerlist permanently. How can i do that?

Is the driver installed on the Citrix Server.
Are there messages in the event viewer ?
