Can anyone tell me is a good idea to have a local LSP, i.e 1 x G450's in the same LAN, 2nd one configured as a LSP? Or is this a waste of a G450?

you could do a G430 and save some money. is the first server a 8300 as well? maybe look at S8800 MBT in HA with 2 servers.
