In my computer i have 1 hd, and 3 cd-devices .. dvd, burner etc. I want these to appear as c: d: e: and f: ... in order. For some reason win2k won't use e: .... and the cd-roms and d: f: and g:. I've tried uninstalling them, having them re-detected... i resetted config. data in my bios... and there is no solution that i can find. I know in win98 you can just choose your drive letter for your device.. is there anyway to do this in win2k?? Any help would be awesome.. thanks.

Under disk management you can change the drive letters simply by right clicking on whatever drive....

Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management.
