Environment:
Windows 2000 Active Directory
4 win2k/exchange 2k servers
2 bridgehead
2 mailbox/public folder
Problem:
about once a month at no particular time the local delivery queue on one of our mailbox servers will start rising to the thousands. after approx a hour or so they will release the mail again.. we have opened tickets with microsoft with no success. everone seems to think that it's a problem with the exchange server. I am not convinced that it is.
there is nothing in the event logs that would point to being a server/exchange error.
has anyone ever witnessed something in common with this problem
