Hi,

Hope this is the appropriate forum for this question. I would like to avoid doing a full VFP 8 intall on a workstation for development purposes. Would rather be able to access required executables from a network folder so that I can write code and compile. Is this possible? Thanks

Mike,
While it's theoretically possible, it does violate your VFP developer license, which simply says - one license, one machine!

One big problem is that you must add and/or update and register a number of system files on the local system. If the registry points to the network, it will greatly increase your network traffic and may not work if that server is down or someone changes or deletes those files.
