Does anyone know if I can use BCP (or any other way for that matter) to load data from an excel spreadsheet to a table?

You can USE DTS if you have SQL 7 or later. If you have an earlier version of SQL Server, you can export to a flat file and then use BCP to import the flat file. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
