load an Exchange 5.5 backup into a Exchange 2000 server

Hi,
Is it possible to load an Exchange 5.5 backup into a Exchange 2000 server? We are using the backup program that comes with w2k server to back our exchange 5.5 server. I was just curious if you could use that backup and restore it to a exchange 2000 server? Any information would be helpful

Not possible, search on Exchange Migration at Technet or google and you will find lots. Thats a pretty common thing to be doing right now. It's actually a pretty complicated process.
