Hi Guys, please help!
Right, I purchased two Compaq PC's for our company, and they can with NAV setup on HDD. I ran it and rebooted, and all is fine until I try to run LiveUpdate (also same problem with Auto Live Update). Both the work PC's are connecting to a Gateway to connect to the internet. Not a problem as LiveUpdate allows you to enter the settings and the autorisation if any is needed. This is entered and goes through until it gets to a certain point in the checking procedure, and it comes back saying it cannot find a particular section it needs to determine whether an update is needed or not.
The reason this is odd as opposed just wrong settings/down gateway/down LiveUpdate service, is that my Office PC with NAV running works fine. With the same settings. Only difference is with the OS.
My OS in my office is unfortunately 98, whereas the two new PC's are XP.
Firewall is not enabled, so that is no problem. The Authorisation usernames and passwords have been checked. The Gateway has been checked. No idea why it wont work, as it seems to be finding the other updates.
