Live News Feeds

Hi,

I am trying to get live news feeds from a couple of affiliated sites onto my site. Could anyone help as to how I would start writing the code for this and how I can start doing this. I do not want to use the feeds that are available on the internet, since I just want the news from sites of my choosing. Can I do it using CF along with WDDX and XML? Any help will be appreciated.

You can schedule cfhttp to get the news articles every few hours and parse it for the proper content, store in a database and display it using a cached query.
