LIST BOX WITH CHANGING ROW SOURCE

I have a list box that I am using in conjunction with option buttons. I am changing the row source depending on the option selected. The problem that I am having is that I am unable to select anything in the list box (not even one record). The enabled property is set to "yes" and the locked property is set to "no". If anyone has any suggestions, please help me out.

Does the form have edit permission?
Is the combo box bound to any datasource
..if it is, is the datasource updatable?

check if it is a snapshot, or if the source table / query is editable etc.. if it is a subform - is the parent form editable?

Just a few thoughts, maybe they'll help, maybe they won't! But the problem lies with something being locked / not updatable.
