Hi everyone,

I have a linux system Red Hat 7.2 on my home network. I have a total of 3 systems connected to a speed stream 2614 router with built in print server. I also have all 3 systems sharring my dsl connection without any problems. I currently can access my printer ml1210 samsung laser printer with all of my windows systems using the samsung driver and the spead stream software that creates the port. Both hardware devices show they support linux. samsung has a driver online. The instructions for the router shows that I should be able to access the printer using an lpd port. I am unable to do this or not sure exactly how to do this. Can someone please tell me how this can be setup.

Thanks
Ray

Before trying to setup anything up manually give 'printtool' a try. I was able to get all my printers working under RH7.3 simply by using that tool. Use the command 'lpr' to actually print a document.
