Hi All,
I am researching and then hopefully (my brain permitting) creating a cluster using fedora and perhaps kickstart. I was wondering if there was anybody with some basic experience in this area to answer a few questions.
I have three machines that are available to use for this test purposes. The machines all have different hardware specs.

The first point that I am confused about is when reading the howto and tutorials on the web the way I understand it is that each node has a separate install of OS but I thought that the ISO image was somehow spread over the network ie all machines used one ISO or is it just that they are all configure the same?

Secondly does one have to be a server and the other two nodes used for jobs like word processing or DVD writing or load balancing the web server or even some complex task that I haven’t thought of yet J then the server being used for allocating tasks to the nodes.

Any advice on mistakes that have already been by anyone before I carry on would be appreciated.

sorry if this is the wrong forum.
