Hello,<br><br>I have just purchased a number of Linksys 24 port switches with Fiber Optic Connectors. Unfortunately, when I use the fiber port I lose all uplink connectivity via cat 5 cable. Does anyone know of a work around so I can uplink via fiber and uplink via cat 5?<br><br><br>Thanks<br><br>PESTY

Make or purchase a cross-over cable and use any one of your regular ports as an uplink. The only thing an uplink port does is cross the transmission and reception cables ( the same as a cross over cable.
