Hello:
I am trying to setup a VPN access to my office,to access 2003 server. I already have Cisco 2611 router,in place, which also acts as DHCP server.
I just bought LINKSYS RV042-- to enable the VPN access to windows server.
Here is what i have in my mind(correct me if iam wrong)
1. Wanted to give a LINKSYS RV042 a WAN IP (Public IP).
2. Users will setup a initial connection to the WAN IP of LINKSYS RV042 ( Question here is how do users get authenticated. It asks for username and password, which one should i use, should i use my active directory username or password)
3.Once User establishes a tunnel to Linksys RV042,they should be able to connect to Active Directory.( I was thinking LINKSYS RV042 WAN IP,and AD SERVER IP are in the subnet, it shouldnt be a problem)
4. Does it make sense.
5. I was thinking logically, and came up with it. I did not start yet.
Please any help appreciated
