Linksys BEFSR41 and Speedtouch 510 different subnet linking

I have Linksys BEFSR41 172.23.50.1 static ip, DHCP enabled I just got a Speedtouch 510i 10.0.0.138 static ip, with DSL line, need to either change 10.0.0.138 to 172.23.40.70
or able to see each subnet for file print sharing on LAN

How do you plan to connect them on the network, the same or diff. subnet? Is the Speedtouch 510i connected to WAN(ISP) or the other?
