Links, Browser not opening

When I click on a link in Outlook 98, the browser (IE6) doesn't open. When IE6 is running and I click on a link in OL98, I hear the disk spin, but nothing happens in IE6. When I click on a link in IE6 when it is running, I get a blank window.

I think everything in IE6 is set as default. Any ideas?

Open a command prompt (Start - Run - CMD)

Type each of these lines, one at the time

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

restart
