Hi

We have been sent a cd that includes lots of information in html and asp format. I have put this onto our server and have created a HTML page to link to the bits we need.

I copied the links from the shortcuts in the asp pages in the cd. However, it seems to work at first, but it is as if the links change ?

I'm guessing this is something to do with asp - anyone got any ideas ?

Hiya,

If you could post a link to one of the pages or just the code it would be really useful. It is doubtful that a website contained on a cd will be using any asp because it would need to be set up on a proper web server in order to run.

Its more likely that the links are pointing to the absolute locations of the files on the cd, or something.

If the links are being dynamically created you will not be able to acces them, try copying all cd contents to a folder on the server and try again. Also, make sure there's no database on the cd you have to create a ODBC connection for
