Can anyone help. I want to see Oracle Tables on another server from within my SQL Server application/database. I think I can do this with Linked Server but am unsure how to configure it. I do have an ODBC link to the Oracle Database that works and an SQLnet Database Alias and I know the IP address - I just don;t know how to link all this together.....and where to put it in SQL Server Linked Server.

Thanks for any help

Try DTS - add an oracle connection and supply the connection properties as prompted and you can see the Oracle DB and pull what you want into SQL Server.
