Hey guys really hope you can help me out...

Heres the situation I've developed a company news website, which has a link on the companys main intranet site. The news website is developed as a stand alone website, but its iframed within the contraints of the head office site (ie. has the head office logo and bottom banner) for head office users, and can be viewed as a stand alone website for store users.

My problem is that there are current news stories on the frontpage of the companies intranet which have links into stories from the news website, and when clicked they open up as a stand alone page. This is ok if the story was being viewed from a store, but id like stories which are linked from the default page of the compaines intranet site to be linked to the news website within the contraints of the main intranet site. (ie. head office footers and banners).

I know this is very confusing. If you need more clarity on this problem , please do ask me, Im very thankful for any suggestions as to how i can resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance

You're actually trying to load the company intranet website with the iframe at the specific story, right? You cannot do that without some kind of scripting. Through scripting you could however pass on the url via address bar, read it off and insert it into the iframe src.
