Hi

I've spent hours on this problem and can't resolve it and would appreciate some assistance.

I have 2 cascading combo boxes on the parent form that work okay. I wish to link the subform to the 2nd combo and have tried to do it like this:

Using the subform properties I enter the 2nd combo name in the link master field and in the link child field I enter the ID field for the subform. This same ID field is present in the 2nd combo as one of the 3 columns/fields that provide the data, although the ID field is hidden as I only see the CompanyName field in the combo.

Thanks in advance.

In the query that populates the subform enter the combo's name and ensure that the link between the combo and the subform's data is the bound field of the combo.
Use the After_Update event of the combo to requery the subform.

Thanks Frank

Really obvious, I was binding the wrong column.
