Linking others to my site.

I want to send a link to my site to some of my customers, should I send the picture and tell them what web address to go to or should I send them the link to a file on my server that has the picture on it?

You are talking about Email ?
Then iclude simply the URL, like

http//

http://www.Name/dano12/index.html

index.html must be the first page and can be omitted then.
In some environments you must start the line with a space.
