Can you link two different master pages in a Quark document? If you have A-Master-A and B-Master-B (on a single sided document), can you link the text boxes so the text will flow in the body pages from A to B, A to B, etc. I have tried using the auto page insertion option in the preferences tab, but I can't make any leeway.

Have you tried using the Link tools!! If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

As far as I know you can't. You can establish linked pages for the same master , so that imported text automatically flows, but you have to manually link instances of the pages in the regular document if you're going to switch masters.

If all you need is different left and right page styles, you could set that up with a facing page master spread and the linkages would work.

If you're on a Mac, you could also write a script that adds pages and links to a previous box by logic. I do that when I have left and right pages with different masters and facing page styles doesn't seem appropriate.

Hope this helps.
