Linking Issue??

What type of join are you using. That could be causing the problem. I would try a left out, from your main data table to the phones table.

The problem is that there are multiple phone numbers per customer. You could add the phone number in a subreport where you select only one (or all) of the phone numbers for display. Link the sub on the customer ID.
