Is it possible to create a button on one form to have the information from certain fields to automatically be placed in another form?
ie...
PART NUMBER on one form to be placed in the part number field of another form.
SERIAL NUMBER on one form to be placed in the serial number field in another form.
if so...
please be discriptive since i am not very "programmer" savy.

Thanks

Just a few questions. Are these forms going to be opened on the users PC at the same time? Do you want the forms window to become active after the transfer.

Please provide a little more information about how your application works.

Although this form i used by 1 other pc and possibly used at the same time, it is usually only opened on 1 pc.
by the way I am using access97.
this form is a separate form and not a subform, at least i do not think it is a sub form.
i have read a little about chilf and master form but i do not see these options in the property list.
