Hi I have two tables which hold data, one has a list of enquirers, the other a list of properties. I need to know how would you match the enquierers to the correct properties.

I am ok on stand alone tables and queries but new to linking between them. Any help would be gratefully aprreciated. More info can be provided at anytime.

Thanks a million

Do the 2 tables have a field in common?
In other words is there a Primary Key in one table and a Foreign Key in the other?
If so, create a new query, add the 2 tables to the view and click and drag from the Primary Key in the one table to the Foreign Key in the other.
Then make sure all the fields you need to see in the result have been included.
If you don't have keys, then there is really no way to join the 2 tables.

Hope this helps.

I will give you an example.
Table 1 Enquirers, people looking for houses
Table 2 Properties, existing properties

Therefore if new properties come in they cna be lnked to existing enquierers. And if new enquirers come in they cna be linked to existing properties.

I will have a referecne number for the property and a ref for the enquirer
