Tools Menu, Database Utilities, Convert Database, To Access 97 File Format You only need to do this for the file with the tables in it (assuming you have a split database). Access 2003 can read and write an Access 97 file. Your front end and backend can be different versions but your front end will be the higher version. Upvote 0 Downvote
