Hi- Anyone know of a way to link a single cell or a couple of cells in Excel into a Word memo. I can insert a single cell but I can't find a way to link it so that it updates.
For example, I want to be able to type a sentence in Word saying Net income is projected to be ____ and then have way to pull in the net income number located in Excel into the sentence in Word.

All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Patricia Anne,

If you Copy the cell in Excel, then position the cursor in Word where you wish to place the link, then go to Edit, Paste Special, and choose one of the options in the window, (I would choose Formatted Text (RTF), Unformatted Text or Unformatted Unicode Text)

Click the Paste Link button on the left side and click OK.

This should prompt you if you want to update the document every time you open it.
