I have an IPO 500 with VMPro, a PRI and we are using SIP trunks primarily for outgoing LD calls. I need to link a second IP 500 to the 1st 500 but the 2nd IPO will not have any trunks other than an IP line to the 1st IPO, the 2nd IPO needs to send and receive calls via the PRI and also make calls via the SIP trunk on the 1st IPO and also use VMPro. Can anyone get me started? I have never done linked IPO's before. I have VCM's and voice networking licenses on both 500's, I don't need to call extension to extension between the systems. TIA

Make in both systems an iproute to the gateway (vpn or other)

Thne make in every system an ipline that points to the other end
Tick voice networking for scn

I have the IP line setup on both systems, I can route incoming DID calls from the PRI to system B extensions, VMPro appears to work on system B, but I am having troubles routing external outgoing calls from B through A to the PRI. Can anyone give me an example of the progamming on the system A side that would route the call from the incoming IP line to the outgoing PRI? Thanks

Is this a US system? The programming needs to be on system B, specifically the ARS:

Code: N;
Telephone Number: 9N
Feature: Dial
Line ID: <IP Line to Sys A>

You have to enter the leading 9 when you send it to system A so it will route using A's ARS route. If you use a number other than 9 then change the Telephone Number entry to reflect that.

Thanks, got almost everything working, although I cannot route DID calls off of the PRI to Hunt Groups on the B system. Is this a licensing issue? I do not have SCN licenses.

You need to make shortcode for huntgroups

Only if you have advanced networking you do not need to
So also if you have the basic networking license then you need to make the shortcode

You do have scn licenses, that are the networking channels
