Link to hidden layers 1

Hi,

I´m just getting started with Dreamweaver so my question may be very simple or impossible !

How do I get my navigator field to bring up a hidden layer next to the layer with the navigatorfield ?

or even better...

open a new HTML-document in that layer ?

I´m tryin´ to do this in order to create a frame looking layout without the use of frames ! If this can be done in any other way, please advise !

Using the onClick you can have it show/hide certain layers within your page. I don't think you can open html pages in layers. I could be wrong though.

Dreamweaver should have a Show/Hide Layer Behavior. That would be the easiest.
