Currently trying to upgrade all of our databases to 2002 format, unfortunately one of our departments relies mainly on some third party software that uses paradox (v4.0 i think).

One of our main client data maintenance systems links into the paradox tables and manipulates to and from the data keeping up to date client information.

This is currently written in access97 and works perfectly fine, on trying to upgrade this database i'm having major hastle trying to link into the paradox tables, getting the error - 'incorrect collating sequence'!!!!!

I have been assured all patches and plugins have been installed on my machine for this to work but can't find a great deal of information about it linking to paradox from 2002!!!!

Any ideas much appreciated

cheers
