Link new tables to BackEnd

I have created some more new tables and added to the split database FE and BE. I right click on the table name in the talbe list in FE and the link talbe manage is grayed out. I can not do the link. Why? Is this the right way to link new tables to the BE? Please help, it is very urgent. Thank you very much in advance.
