Greetings all,
I have several FB II's in my offices running version 7.0. Occasionally one will lapse into a mode where it stops responding. When this happens, the link lights on all three network interfaces illuminate even though there's never anything connected to the optional interface. I'm usually able to reset them to default by power cycling several times with a crossover cable connected between two of the interfaces, however it's becoming quite troublesome when this happens seemingly at random. Has anyone ever seen this sort of behavior? Am I possibly doing something wrong that is causing it?
Thanks!
-Jason

I would upgrade your software to the latest version 7.3 you may also want to give watchguard a call as I had a similar problem before the box suffered a hardware failure due to overheating from a non-functioning internal fan
