Hi all,

I've a worksheet[number.xls] with a list of numbers 1 ~ 100 in Excel colums A.

How do I link those numbers in a new worksheet [final_numbers.xls] having 5 Rows * 5 Colums format?

Col A Col B Col C Col D Col D
1 6 11 16 21
2 7 12 17 22
3 8 13 18 23
4 9 14 19 24
5 10 15 20 25

(leaving 6 rows then countinue another batch of 5R * 5C)

26 31 36 41 46
27 32 37 42 47
28 33 38 43 48
29 34 39 44 49
30 35 40 45 50

Appreciate your advise. Thanks. :p

Regards.

Hi,

Linking in what way?

For a reference, all you do is point to the other workbook/worksheet/cell in edit mode.

You mean have a formula to link one cell, and be able to copy that to all the other cells for linking? If so, then try:
Code:
=INDEX([Sample.xls]Sheet1!$A$1:$A$100,(COLUMN()-1)*5+ROW()+INT(ROW()/11)*14)

Cheers, Glenn.
