Lining up 2nd line under bullets

In setting up a style sheet for bulleted items. How do I make sure that the 2nd and subsequent lines line up under the first, without having to manually put in the crtl | at the beginning of the first line?

Can you be a little more specific? Where in the tabs palette? How would it be indicated?

Actually, if you are setting up a style, you will see this in the 'Tabs' tab of Paragraph Styles.

Just make the first line indent a negative value. The top marker will be further to the left of the bottom marker.

Type 'tabs' in Help for a visual representation of this.
