Is there a way of looking at specific lines and displaying what is being passed through them ?

On xyplexs you can issue a show port <port_number> counters command that displays the input and output of that particular port.

Im trying to prove that the traffic going into my cisco is reaching the line and going off it.

Forgive me im new to ciscos....

Exactly wath are you trying to see? the bandwith? the ports of tcp/udp? Because some times wen you have Nat on an interface you can see the ports beeign use, in other hand the show interfaces can show you the amount of bandwith of an especific port (serial, ethernet, etc).

Im trying to see the data going through line 7 on my tty ports.
