How can I set it where if I have a active call at my station another phone can pick up on that line without it saying "In use by..." Thank you for any help.

This sounds like a Norstar system
If yes - there are two ways.
On the line programming - turn privacy off for each line you want to be able to barge in on.
or - use Feature 83. The phone who has the call presses feature 83 to allow other phones to join call by pressing line key.
