limits to importing data to charts

Hello:
I am importing data to charts, copy and paste going along and when I get to the 12 chart everything goes crashing around my head. Any ideas? I did not think there was a limit to charts. All I am doing is imoprting line data not very much to it.

Copy and paste WHERE? Into a sheet? Into the Chart (which is Edit>PasteSpecial)???

You have 12 charts? Are they all completely different? What is actually happening regarding the "...crashing around my head"???

Please provide CLEAR, CONCISE and COMPLETE explanation.

Please provide some sample data.
