I was reading through this thread thread616-479080

and it seems that everybody that has gone trhough it has found the answers they were loking for, except me...

the question that i still have is:

How to prevent set up so that my users will only run one program, the one i decide that they can run?

This machine will be used as a punch clock, so all i want available is the puch clock software that's it.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Sylvain

Hi dixxy, just go to the folder that the punch software is in ( programme files probably ) and set the security on the folder to allow for the user. But on all other programme folders set them to deny( deny always outways an allow). Or lock down the pc so all they can use is MS access and create a small front end ( microsoft access start up form ) and call the programme from their by the use of a button on the form.
