I would like to make a colleagues database more user firendly.

The users need access to reports and queries only as the should never have to update anything. Therefore I would ideally like for them to be able to only see reports and queries when they are in the database. I thought of creating a form which would control where they go. However there are over 70 reports and having a separtae button to run each one is too complicated.

Is there a way I can either:
Give user access to only the report and query windows or..
Create a form where reports and queries are available which isn't too complicated and full of controls??

Many Thanks

Depending on how user friendly you want it could do what
I recently did ..
.. have a table listing (report) object names, as well as 'user friendly' names.
Have a form with a listbox which is populated from the table above.
(I allowed multiple selection as some users want to see many reports at once)
add a button to cycle thru the selected reports and open them, and viola ..
of course some of the reports no doubt need params .. in this instance i just make the param prompts meaningful
hope that helps
