Limited email access to only certain email addresses

I have seen tutorials how to limit email to internal only. But is there a way to do internal only, but allow emails to and from certain address's. Sorry for the newbie question, but I haven't used exchange much and I am considering it for a client.

Are there any exchange alternatives that can accomplish similar things?
