We have a department that shares a group mailbox. We are running into issues where more than one employee logs into the mailbox to check messages at the same time. Is there a way to lock the mailbox down to only accept one login and when the second employee tries to login they would get a message of some sorts saying mailbox session in progress?

I have seen earlier posts asking the same question dating a few years back but all that was ever answered was no one knew how to prevent more than one login to a mailbox. Was hoping someone might have figured it out...if you did, please post! Thanks!

you can't prevent this from happening.
