I know I've seen the answer to this before, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to search the forum for it.

I have a text field which for some unfathomable reason has a number of entries with "*" as the first character. I want to run a query to delete the "*", but how do I refer to it in the criteria?

Try something like this.

UPDATE TekListMissing
SET Col2 = Right([Col2],Len([Col22])-1)
WHERE Col2 Like '[*]*';
